      Earl Bishir
      WEBB CITY, Mo.-Services for Earl William Bishir, 80, 120 S. Liberty St., who died at 11:30 p.m. Monday at Jane Chinn Hospital after a long illness will be at 10 a.m. today at Simpson Funeral Home.

      The Rev. Jim West will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
      Pallbearers will be R. C. Owens, Ed Franklin, Danny Burke, Warren Carr, Richard Steele and LeRoy Bennett.

      Memorial contributions may be made to Central United Methodist Church, Webb City, or the Webb City Library.

      Mr. Bishir was born May 8, 1905 in Webb City, and was a lifetime resident of the town. He was a retired bookkeeper. He had worked at Empire District Electric Co., Joplin National Bank and the Meeker Co., for which he retired in 1968. He had attended Washington University, St. Louis, and was a member of Webb City Masonic Lodge No. 512.

      He married Virginia Oldham on Oct. 19, 1930 at Columbus, Kan. She survives.
      Also surving are three sons, John William Bishir, Raleigh, N. C., Randall Bishir, Independence, Kan., and Mark Bishir, Pittsburg, Kan.; a sister Bess M. Sherer, Mullinville, Kan.; eight grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
