      84 of Bradenton, FL formerly of Springfield died Tuesday, Decebmer 15, 2009 in Tidewell Hospice. She was born in Clark County, Ohio on December 24, 1924, the daughter of Chester Porter and Margaret (Hallan) Lewis. Anna retired as an assembler with the Ohio Thermometer Company and prior to that she was a meat cutter with Albers Grocery and worked at JC Penny. Anna was a member of the Women of Moose Lodge #429 and enjoyed bowling, BINGO, playing cards, and family gatherings. She was preceded in death by her first husband Richard Bisher and her second husband Robert E. Hinkle, daughter and son-in-law Judith (Jim) Henderson, brothers Russell, Chester, and Edward Lewis, sisters Ruby Chiles and Audrey Nickell, and son-in-law Jim Payton. Her survivors include two dauthers, Sharon Payton and Patti Austin both of Brandenton, FL, one son and daughter-in-law Larry (Jane) Hinkle of Saginaw, Texas, two brothers, Robert Lewis of South Vienna and Richard Lewis of Springfield, thirteen grandchildren Mark, Chris, Kim, Butch, Jimmie, Richard, Lee, Julie, Jeremy, Ryan, Shauna, Kate, and Kara, sixteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Anna was a wonderful mother, grandmother and was very devoted to her family and friends. Her love and caring was evident in all that she did in her life. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends in Sugar Creek. Family and friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM in the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 AM in the Memorial Home with her nephew Don Carpenter officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
