- Corda lived in Xenia in 1920 with her remaining children. She was living with Ned in Clark Co., Ohio in 1930. She died of a stroke in 1943.
Research: 1900 census gives Cordie's birth year as 1871. 1800 census shows 1870. Her death certificate lists 1874. However, she is 1 year old in the 1870 census and the Highland Co., Ohio birth records give her birth year as 1869. There is also some confusion over which day in January she was born.
She lists 7 children in 1910, 7 living - however we know about 8. It would seem she forgot about Walter Jr. who has apparently died since 1900. She was divorced by 1910 and she has moved to Springfield, Ohio by 1920. [4]
