Notes |
- One of their children had died by 1910. They have an 8 year-old granddaughter, Betty V., living with them in 1930 (Ethel is no longer there.)
Christina Whittle’s Great Aunt (Leggett) remembers Elva had 37 cats (maybe not really 37, but many cats.) She also used to bake a lot of pies. The most wonderful pies in the town. She was a sweet woman and the kids would call her Aunt Elvira and she would get angry because that was not her name. They lived on Sycamore St. in Cincinnati for a long time. [5]
