      Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Afton Cemetery for former Chicoan Leata May Dilbeck, 75.

      She died Friday in Derry.

      Mrs. Dilbeck was born Dec 2, 1906 in Chico to Neal and Lottie May Fammer (misspelled). She married James Otis Dilbeck on May 16, 1929, in Stockton.

      The couple farmed for a while in Moscow, Idaho. In 1940 they moved to Chico and bought a farm. They later sold it and went into the sporting goods business. In 1979 she moved to Derry.

      Survivors include a son, Richard of Derry, Wash.; a daughter, Donnalee Smith of Lafayette; her mother, Lottie May Lillybridge of Derry; and four grandchildren.

      Hall-Van Hook Funeral Chapel of Chico handled local arrangements.
