Notes |
- She is living without a husband in 1850 in Howard Co. Missouri.
In 1833, her husband, John, along with two of her brothers, Berry and William, and one of Priscilla’s uncles (William Lee, Jr.) all died of cholera in Franklin, Mo.
John and Priscilla’s son, William, grew up along the Missouri River until he moved to Travis County in 1852 with his mother and two brothers, James and John. A sister, Emmaline, also came with her husband, James Swope, and John and Abraham, their children at the time.
Priscilla’s son James became a cowboy and settled in San Antonio, and his brother, John never married, living with Priscilla on the family farm. Priscilla died before 1894, but her grave was never found.
In 1833 Priscilla was assigned as admininstrator of her husband’s estate along with David Lee and Thomas Lee. Were these additional sons or brothers? [1, 2, 10]
