  • Notes
    • Gus' family was from Nice, France. Gus and Mandy lived on Bellvue in Los Angeles about the time of Joseph C. Lee's death. They also had a house at 336 N. Benton Way and on Maltman. Gus had filed a patent for a hamburger stand shaped like a hamburger around 1930. He built the stand in the San Fernando Valley in the 30s. Verna Lee Cox remembers eating there. She’s pretty sure it was on San Fernando Rd. in San Fernando.

Gus, Amanda and Thelma lived with Johnny and Rose Ostrich in 1920. [10]
