Comments: I'm a great niece of Dorothy Mae Bisher. Aunt Mae was my Grandmother's (Pansy) sister. I can barely remember visiting Aunt Mae and Uncle Lee in Springfield Ohio and I remember them making the trip to visit Grandma on Winchester Rd. in Xenia. I would like to hear from any family members.

Comments: As a descendant of Jeremiah, I have ordered a test from Ancestry.com. I have made the assumption that Jeremiah is a son of Christopher, but it's possible he could be a nephew, or something else. I encourage Bishir men from other lines to pursue this testing, if financially possible. Bishir ladys, encourage your brothers or fathers. I'm looking forward to everyones results!

Comments: I descend from Sarah Bisher, born in Indiana to Jeremiah Bisher and Malinda Gillam. Sarah married Robert Mills Wright in IN and had three daughters and three sons. That family (minus two oldest married daughters) moved to OR in late 1800's. Their youngest daughter, Minnie(my grandmother), married Charles A.Whitsett in Prineville, OR; they came with two children to Orland, CA in 1910. Two additional Whitsett children were born in 1912 and 1913. Sarah Bisher and husband Robert Mills Wright also came but later. At some point Hannah Bisher Lowry and some of her children followed her sister and family to Orland. Sarah and Robert are buried in Orland, CA as are Hannah and two Lowry sons.
