Lee and Mendenhall Family,

Just a short note to let you know that Don and I have finished our Lee/Mendenhall Family History book and it is available on Lulu.com if you wish to order a copy. Lulu is an Internet self-publishing site that prints books on-demand. We have published our book there without any markup over the cost of printing - we are not interested in profiting from sales to my family. Our goal in publishing this information is to make sure our family history, stories, and photos are preserved for future generations by spreading them as widely as possible across our extended family.

The book is an update of a much smaller book we did several years ago, and the product of 35 years of extensive research into the Lee and Mendenhall families. It is hardbound and contains over 450 pages, crammed full of hundreds of old family photographs that were provided by many generous members of the family. We are very pleased with how it turned out!

The color version is printed on higher quality paper (whiter and smoother) and the definition even in the black and white photos is better and the blacks are more solid. However, since most of the old photos are in black and white we do not believe the color version is worth quadruple the cost for most people.
