Notes |
- Named for her two grandmothers, Anna Hoyle Mendenhall and Susanna Hoyle Rudisill (who were sisters!) Anna's family lived in Erath County, Texas around 1880, and she was living in the Atoka district of the Choctow Nation after her husband's
death. Her brother Joseph's sons Cleve and Blake are listed as "Chore boys" in hers and Joseph's households in the 1900 census there. In 1920, two of her sons, Frank and Ely, were living in Payne County, Oklahoma (near Stillwater) with Joe Baty
(b. about 1902) and Harvey Baty (b. about 1909). It is not clear how they are related.
