      MRS. CHRIS BADGLEY DIED AT HER
      HOME IN THIS CITY THIS MORING.

      PARALYSIS FOLLOWS DROPSY

      Mrs. Helen Badgley, wife of Chris Badgley, died at their home, 159 east Mechanic street at two-thirty o'clock this morning, following an illness of nearly two years.

      Mrs. Badgley was afflicted with dropsy and about a week ago she suffered from a stroke of paralysis. The stroke brought unconsciousness and she remained in t this condition till her death.

      Mrs. Badgley was aged sixty-nine years, three months and fourteen days.

      Mrs. Badgley had spent the greater part of her life in this county and she was held in high esteem by all who knew her.

      For thirty years she was a resident of Sugar Creek township.

      Two years ago she and her husband sold their farm and had been making their home with a daughter, Mrs. Cora Quack, at Indianapolis until six weeks ago when they returned to this city.

      Mrs. Badgley had been a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church for more than forty years and was a member of the church at Boggstown while she was residing in Sugar Creek township.

      Besides the husband and the daughter she leaves a son, William Barshler, of Indianapolis, and is also survived by two sisters and a brother. They are Mrs. Maria Eichelsberger, of Shelby township. Mrs. Sarah Stout, of Hillsboro, O., and William Borden, of Ohio.

      The funeral services will be held at the house at nine o'clock Wednesday morning. Rev. A. W. Conn, officiating, and the body will then be taken to Indianapolis for interment in Crown Hill cemetery in charge of Stewart & Fix. [1, 3]
